I’m not sure when I blinked, but it’s been 16 years since we saw each other across the pool table in the church basement, and my life was forever changed. Let’s not talk about how it took you until December to ask me out, but I’m forever grateful that you finally did, because being with you is the best thing to happen to me … ever. I love how we can bounce ideas off of each other all the time, we have a secret, almost wordless language, and are each other’s biggest cheerleaders and advocates. But mostly… I just have so much fun with you, even if it’s just laying on the couch binging a TV show after we’ve (finally) put the kiddo to bed after working outside all day. I can’t imagine my life without you, and I don’t even want to try.
